Splash Park at City Park

Splash Park at City Park is Manhattan's free municipal splash pad in the southwest corner of City Park. The play area includes dumping buckets, spray nozzles, fountains, and water spouts on a level surface, making it one of the region's strongest low-cost summer stops for toddlers through grade-school kids. Families also get a covered pavilion with picnic tables, benches, bathroom access, and a large playground right beside the splash area. Because the feature runs on a timer and the area is open within the park, it works best for short supervised visits that can easily turn into a longer playground outing.
